Albert Szent-Gyorgyi was a Hungarian biochemist known for "discovering" vitamin C and won a Nobel Prize for it in 1937.
After that, Albert spent his time outside his lab working with the Hungarian Resistance and in fact escaping house arrest from Adolf Hitler's Gustopo. After moving to America, Albert took a 25 year old as his bride at age 72. Imagine that!
